What stays in this browser

• The amounts and percents you enter on a calculator.
• An optional currency-symbol preference stored in local storage on your device (display only).

What leaves your device

• Ordinary page requests: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and images.
• The host (Vercel) may record standard request metadata such as IP address, browser type, and the page path. Those logs are for security and reliability. They do not include a transcript of calculator inputs.
• Page views may be counted with Vercel Web Analytics. We do not run ads and we do not use advertising cookies. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising.

Accounts, cookies, and personal data

CalcKit does not need a login. We do not collect names, emails, or payment details. Beyond hosting logs and optional analytics described above, we do not collect personal data.

GDPR and CCPA

If you are in the EEA, UK, or California, you can still ask about hosting logs. We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted ads. There is no calculator-input archive to correct or delete on our side — closing the tab is the deletion.

Legal bases for the little we do process (page requests and optional analytics): operating the site, and legitimate interest in understanding which pages load. You can use a tracking-prevention browser if you prefer not to be counted.

Children

This site is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children because we do not collect account data or calculator transcripts.

Tip, margin, discount, and salary figures are arithmetic. They are not tax, employment, or financial advice.
